Nerd, Geek, Dork???

So I took a test to see how much of a nerd geek or dork I was. I’m glad to say I am a Geek just like I thought I was, however, I have more nerd and dork in me than I thought I did. I know I’m a geek because of what I consider to be nerds and dorks. Nerds Know stuff, Dorks know stuff about unusual things, Geeks know things about unusual things and put that to work. Muhaha, click the link below to see my results.

Geek first, then a pirate…

Pure
Geek

30 % Nerd, 52% Geek, 34% Dork

For The Record:

A Nerd is someone who is passionate about learning/being smart/academia.

A Geek is someone who is passionate about some particular area or
subject, often an obscure or difficult one.

A Dork is someone who has difficulty with common social
expectations/interactions.

You scored better than half in Geek, earning you the title of: Pure
Geek
.

It’s not that you’re a school junkie, like the nerd, and you don’t
really stand out in a crowd, like the dork, you just have some
interests that aren’t quite mainstream. Perhaps it’s anime, perhaps
it’s computers, perhaps it’s bottlecaps, perhaps it’s all of those and
more. Your interests take you to events and gatherings that are filled
with people you find unusual and beyond-the-pale, but you don’t quite
consider yourself “of that crowd.” Instead, you consider yourself to be
fairly normal.

Which, you are.

Congratulations! You’re the one on the RIGHT!

Arr, Pirates!

Arr, seems to be de pirate day matey. Everyone be talking all pirate like. Blow me down I haven’t seen anyone chatting like a pirate yet but it be bound to happen yet.

My pirate name is:
Calico Sam Roberts

Often indecisive, you can’t even choose a favorite color. You’re apt to follow wherever the wind blows you, just like Calico Jack Rackham, your namesake. Two things complete your pirate persona: style and swagger. Maybe a little too much swagger sometimes — but who really cares? Arr!

No time for blogging…

There’s just no time for blogging when you spend the weekend at someone else’s place.
It was nice though as I’ve never spent any time in St. Paul. It was nice waking up late morning on Sunday and walking across to the farmer’s market to get luch. Spent $18.75 between just the two of us though but for that we had two homemade lemonades, 3 roasted pieces of corn. Some apples and a huge circle of french onion bread. It was quite delicious and there is still a piece of corn in her fridge along with the apples which I hope she is eatting. I’ve never heard of burgandy apples but there are quite sweet and the skin is a little tart yet, the perfect combo.
Headed over to Barker’s Bar and Grill in downtown Hudson where I treated Sara to renowned burgers and then back into St. Paul.
Waking up this morning was awesome. Walked to my notacar (minivan) in the rain in the city and I thought to myself, this is awesome. I really could enjoy that for a long time.
