Seagate’s RMA Program Sucks

Seagate has decided to shaft the consumer by adding an a $20 Advance Drive Replacement fee. Not only do they replace your drive bearing a 5-year warranty with a refurbished drive bearing a 90-day warranty, they want to charge you extra for swapping out your drive in a reasonable amount of time. Other vendors (WD) rarely charge for this service!
